Fashion checklist for the rains

Monday, June 14, 2010
Well my not so favourite season of the year is here with all its puddles and splashes but i have found a way to come out of my gloom. I have decided to be a fashionista and give everybody fashion tips for the season.

Begining with clothes, the darker the colours the better it is because it will keep you looking clean and opaque. Baggy clothes should be avoided and so should the scanty ones..believe me you wont want mud stains on your sexy legs in the morning......wear nice flowy fabrics like chiffon and avoid cottons.

Coming to shoes "Rubber"saves the day...wear chappals and flip flops which save you from the smelly feets as well as look super cool and funky. Dont be caught in public wearing leather shoes but if you have to go to work in them remember to keep that extra pair of flip-flops in the office. Another great option is jelly flats and peeptoes as they look super sexy and are comfy too. However stay away from heels even if you are 5 feet tall....you will bless me when you dont fall down in a water filled pothole.

For your hair keep them open or tie in a loose pony tail...tight buns are a total no-no as they look if ugly if your hair is wet. Also please shampoo them regularly for the benifit of all those who surround you.

If you are an accessory lover like me..this is your season. Wear cute plastic bangles with colourful geometric designed earrings. You can also wear long neckpieces with beads and coloured stones but try to keep it a little neat and dont over-do. Carry see-through plastic handbags or if you prefer go for leather like looking plastic bags as they are generally waterproof. Dont use fabric and jute bags this season for reasons you know.

So here it is my fashion gyan for the season......hope you follow it or else GOD SAVE YOU!
